A complete Noritake Edgewood service for four, pattern #5807, produced in Japan between 1957 and 1973 — a delicate pattern of pink and blue florals set against a platinum-trimmed ground. The service includes 4 each of dinner plates, salad plates, bread & butter plates, cups and saucers, soup bowls, and dessert bowls, rounded out by a pair of oval serving platters — a very large 16" piece and a 13" companion.

This is the kind of quietly elegant vintage china that suits an intimate dinner or a holiday table for two couples equally well — small enough to feel personal, complete enough to need nothing else. Sets this size rarely survive intact, platters included; this one did, so it's ready to go straight from the box to the table.
