Noritake "Made in Occupied Japan" 3-Piece Serving Set — Oval Bowl, Gravy Boat & Tureen, Circa 1945–1952

A three-piece serving set from Noritake, marked "Made in Occupied Japan" — a backstamp used exclusively between 1945 and 1952, during the period of Allied occupation following World War II, making these pieces cleanly datable within a tight seven-year window.
The unidentified floral pattern features a pale blue lattice-and-daisy border framed in gold, with loose sprays of multicolor blossoms scattered across a soft cream ground. The set includes a handled oval vegetable bowl, a gravy boat with its own attached underplate, and a footed round tureen base.

Gravy boat with attached base: 9¼" x 6" x 3⅛" tall
Tureen: 8⅛" diameter x 10½" handle to handle x 5" tall
Condition: The oval bowl and gravy boat are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or repairs. The tureen base itself is fully sound and functional — footed, stable, and free of damage. Its lid, however, has a small interior chip and a crack running across much of its diameter that flexes under gentle pressure. The lid is included as a decorative bonus only and is not intended for functional use — it should not be lifted repeatedly or relied upon to hold weight. The tureen base is perfectly serviceable on its own, with or without the lid in play.
