Rosenthal "R&C Delft" Coastal Church Scene Plate, Circa 1891–1930s — Antique Flow Blue, Germany
An antique Rosenthal Delft-series plate in rich cobalt flow blue, depicting a coastal village scene: a bell-towered church with two figures at its entrance, a moored sailing boat, wind-swept trees, and a distant windmill silhouette across the water. Layered cloud work and a graduated blue wash along the lower border give the composition genuine atmospheric depth beyond a simple repeated motif.
Measures 9⅞" in diameter. Marked on the reverse with Rosenthal's vase-form R.C. mark and "Delft, Germany" in script, consistent with the company's late 19th- to early 20th-century production.
"But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you". Matthew 6:33
