Bavaria Kronester Egg Cups, Alpine Floral — Vintage Germany

A pair of Kronester porcelain egg cups from Bavaria, decorated with a garland of alpine wildflowers (edelweiss, blue gentian, and pink alpine blossoms) around the rim. Backstamped “Bavaria Kronester Porzellan in Glasur Dekor,” meaning the decoration was fired into the glaze rather than applied on top. That makes it unusually durable and resistant to wear.

No chips or cracks; the decoration is crisp. A charming addition to a breakfast table, or a sweet decorative pair on its own.
