Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria Footed Bowl, Germany, Vintage, Circa 1948–1970 — PASCO Import Mark, Gilt Rococo Scrollwork
A footed porcelain bowl from Hutschenreuther, Selb, Germany, marked with the company's oval lion "L.H.S." backstamp alongside the red crown-and-diamond "PASCO" import mark — used by New York importer Paul Straub & Co. on Hutschenreuther wares between roughly 1948 and 1970.
The bowl is shaped in a rococo-inspired oval form with a deeply scalloped, embossed body rising to a gilt-traced rim with sculptural scrollwork along the edge. Gold ear-shaped handles rise at either end, and the piece rests on ornate gilt scroll feet — substantial hand-applied gold work throughout rather than a simple painted rim line.
Dimensions: 11⅞" x 8" x 4¾".
Condition: Excellent. No chips, cracks, or damage noted; gilt work is bright and intact throughout.
