An antique Nippon serving set featuring elaborate raised gold moriage work — heavy beaded gilt scrollwork and cherry blossom medallions in dimensional relief, a more labor-intensive decorating technique than simple painted florals. Cream-white porcelain with a soft butter-yellow ground and pierced celery-dish handles. Each piece carries the "Hand Painted Nippon" wreath mark, consistent with early 20th-century Japanese export porcelain.
