Noritake Greenbrier Dinnerware Service for 16, Pattern #4101, Circa 1991–2006

Picture sixteen places set for a holiday dinner, every one matching: a soft seafoam-green band, a fine line of platinum catching the candlelight, and a delicate garland of peach and blush roses circling each plate. This complete Noritake Greenbrier service has never been used, and many of its pieces still sit sealed in their original factory plastic, waiting for their first gathering.

Greenbrier (pattern #4101) was produced from 1991 to 2006 in the Philippines and has since been discontinued. Its appeal is its restraint: formal enough for a holiday table and gentle enough for a Sunday supper, with none of the heavy ornamentation that can make fine china feel too precious to use.

The service carries every core place-setting line through to sixteen: dinner plates, salad plates, bread & butter plates, cups and saucers, and dessert bowls. The serving suite is just as complete: two 14" x 10¼" oval platters, a 9⅜" round serving bowl, two 9⅞" x 6⅞" oval serving bowls, a gravy boat with underplate, a creamer, a lidded sugar bowl, and salt and pepper shakers.

A complete, unused service for sixteen, with every serving piece, would be genuinely difficult to assemble on today’s market. It’s ready for a large or growing family, and for every holiday, anniversary, and Sunday dinner still to come.

Condition: Unused. Many pieces remain sealed in their original factory plastic; unsealed pieces show no signs of use, chips, or wear.

Care: Platinum trim. Not microwave safe; hand washing recommended.
