A footed, scalloped covered box from Rosenthal's "Pompadour" line, backstamped "Rosenthal, Selb-Germany, Pompadour." The lid and sides are decorated with a delicate alpine floral spray — blue gentian, edelweiss, and pink phlox — in factory transfer-printed decoration on fine white porcelain. Measures approximately 5¼" x 4" x 1¾". Excellent condition, no chips or cracks. A lovely small vanity or jewelry box, equally at home holding trinkets or displayed on its own.
