St. Louis "Amadeus" Crystal Stemware Set, France — 8 Pieces, Water Goblets & Wine Glasses
An eight-piece stemware set in Saint-Louis's celebrated "Amadeus" pattern, mouth-blown and hand-cut by master artisans at the Cristallerie Saint-Louis in Lorraine, France — the oldest crystal manufacturer in Europe, granted the title of Royal Cristallerie in 1781. Each glass is marked with the acid-etched "Saint Louis France" signature on the base.
Amadeus pairs a generously rounded, clear crystal bowl with a slender, drawn stem — a silhouette designed to read as quietly refined at a formal table while letting the crystal's purity and sonority speak for itself. This set includes four water goblets and four wine glasses in the pattern's graduated stem sizes.
Dimensions:
- Water goblets (4): 8¾" tall x 3⅝" diameter
- Wine glasses (4): 8" tall x 3½" diameter
Condition: Excellent overall, with light wear consistent with careful use typical of fine crystal of this age. One glass has a small area of etching on the rim, believed to be from long-term contact wear; this glass is priced accordingly below the rest of the set. No chips or structural damage on any piece.
