A complete dinner service for twelve in Theodore Haviland’s Rosalinde pattern: delicate sprays of pink and white roses with violets and soft green foliage on a warm ivory ground, finished with gold rims on a gently scalloped shape. The cups have gilded handles.

Each piece is marked “Théodore Haviland New York, France, Rosalinde.” The New York name was the company’s American trademark; “France” marks this as French-made porcelain from Theodore Haviland’s Limoges production.

Service for 12:

  • 12 dinner plates, 10⅝"
  • 12 salad plates, 7⁹⁄₁₆”
  • 12 bread plates, 6⅜"
  • 12 cups, 3¾" × 2¹⁄₁₆” tall
  • 12 saucers, 5¾"

Serving pieces:

  • Large oval platter, 16" × 12½"
  • Oval serving bowl, 9½" × 7½"

Extras: 3 additional cups and 4 additional saucers.

Condition: The service for 12 and both serving pieces are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks, or wear to the gold. Of the extra saucers, two have very small flea bites at the rim and one has a small chip or flea bite at the rim edge; the fourth extra saucer is free of damage.
