CH Field Haviland Limoges Gold Band Serving Suite, 8-Piece, Circa 1900-1941

A simple, but beautiful Charles Field Haviland (CH Field Haviland/GDA) Limoges serving suite in a clean gold-line band with no additional decoration — a versatile, "goes-with-everything" set built to complement any dinner service, vintage or modern, that lacks serving pieces of its own. The suite includes a large oval platter, smaller oval platter, oval covered vegetable dish, round covered vegetable dish, open oval serving bowl, covered butter dish, gravy boat with attached underplate, and a diamond-shaped dish. Backstamp dates the set to the CH Field Haviland/GDA red-mark era (circa 1900–1941). Based on period styles and the shape of these blanks, we are comfortable saying that this is likely from 1900-1920, though we can't say this with certainty. Gilt rim wear consistent with age; several pieces show small in-glaze specks characteristic of period manufacture. A true antique French Limoges set, sized and shaped to complete a table rather than anchor it.
