An antique five-piece serving suite by Theodore Haviland of Limoges, the porcelain house Théodore Haviland founded in the 1890s after leaving the family firm. Each piece is decorated with scattered sprays of soft pink roses with lavender accents and green foliage, on a white body with molded scroll handles finished in gold.

Marked “Théodore Haviland, Limoges, France” in red, a mark in use until 1925, placing every piece at more than a century old.

The suite includes:

  • Large oval platter with gilded scroll handles
  • Smaller oval platter with gilded scroll handles
  • Covered vegetable dish with gilded handles
  • Open oval serving bowl with gilded handles
  • Covered sugar bowl with gilded handles

Dimensions available upon request.

Together they once served a formal table: platters for the roast or fish course, the covered dish for vegetables, the open bowl for sides, and the sugar for coffee.

Condition: The smaller platter has a small chip on the underside edge. The covered sugar has a small chip on its side wall. The other three pieces are free of chips and cracks. The gilding on the handles is bright and free of wear.
